This is a remotely installed Bluetooth receiver (from your smartphone or computer) that plays your movies or your music over speakers either installed in your wall/ceiling or connected through a simple wall plate to your bookshelf speakers. All without taking up ANY counter space.
How Does It Work?
You install this into an outlet box (Deep J-box or Deep Old Work box) in your wall of your choice. Ideally it will install into a location that has an electrical outlet below as that's how it plugs in. There is a DC wall port included to install in the wall in the same stud bay, below your volume control and you run a wire from the volume control to the back of the wall port. On the outside, you plug in an AC/DC 24 volt 3 amp adapter (NOT INCLUDED, see below) from the electrical outlet to the wall port.
From the volume control you'll have a left and right speaker wire that will go to either wall/ceiling speakers or optionally to a speaker wall plate for bookshelf out of wall type speakers on a desktop or shelf, for example.Custom Name ProgrammingWe can even program your device with your own custom name for the area that it will be installed in! Examples: Kitchen, Dining Room, Conference Room, Exam Room 1, Joes Office. Up to 24 characters. This makes your areas separate so multiple people don't log onto the same device.
